About the CDC Digital Library
An open access repository of Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) teaching and learning materials for Zambian schools, maintained by the Curriculum Development Centre.
Our Mission
The CDC Digital Library exists to ensure that every learner and teacher has equitable access to quality CBC teaching and learning materials. This platform is maintained by the Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) under the Ministry of Education.
Our goal is to support both teaching and learning by providing structured, easy-to-navigate access to approved CBC resources — regardless of location, device, or internet bandwidth.
Open Access
All materials are freely available to browse and download. No account or login is required by learners or teachers.
Curriculum-Aligned
Every resource is approved and aligned to the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) for ECE, Primary and Secondary and YALE education.
Responsive Design
The platform is designed to work seamlessly on desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones.
Low Bandwidth
Materials are optimised for access on slower internet connections, with file size information shown before downloading.
Easy Search
A full-text search engine allows users to quickly locate resources by keyword, subject, grade, or term.
Multiple Formats
Resources are available in PDF, video, audio, and image formats to cater to different teaching and learning styles and needs.
